Journal of the Caribbean Kangaroo

Oct. 30th, 2007 08:12 pm This is Halloween. (Update, et. al...)

Dear Journal-friends and Random-readers.

Figured it was about time to get around to posting a new journal. What else would I have this thing for, if not to voice-off on it, once in a while. I've been trying to figure the logistic of maintaining a journal and personal website/webcomic--which, allow me to plug herein - Legend of the Caribbean Kangaroo --has been up and running for almost two months now. You can read all the to-date episodes there, as well. Go ahead--do it--I'll still be waiting here when you get back.

Wow, huh? Well, don't nominate me for an Eisner yet.

Anyway, it's a labour of love that's been thriving to find some life, and finally, here it is. The story keeps rolling, so I hope that readership continues--tell your friends, support your local platypi....

I'm thinking of maintaining some kind of "weekly director commentary" on the strips, herein. I don't have the website size (just yet) to maintain a blog/bulletin board on my personal site, but I'm happy to utilize and make the most of all the free services of the Whole Wubbulous Web. So, please, drop a line, stop on by, lemme know you're out there.

Work in Norfolk is grueling. When it's not grueling, it's EXTREMELY grueling. Keep putting one foot in front of the other, y'know? Halloween is tomorrow, and the crew are having a little bit of dress-up. Can't say as the idea of slogging heavy boxes in costume appeals to me, greatly, but I've assembled an appropriate "costume" that comes complete with irascible attitude, cane and non-prescription painkillers! [Yes, it's Gregory House, MD. Hugh Laurie freakin' pwns.]

More to come, good my people. Be safe--
--Steve.
